No we are not wedding planners nor do we offer day-of coordinating services. RKD focuses solely on the execution and planning of the flowers and decorations for weddings and events.
We do not require that you disclose a budget prior to meeting with Rachael. While having a budget as a guideline is helpful, she will happily provide a quote that let's you know what your taste and style costs so that you may decide from there what budget you are comfortable with.
Yes, in order to best serve you we require a date for the event be predetermined prior to requesting a consultation {please check our availability to accept on your date}.
We also a venue be predetermined as well as each venue offers something different and ultimately determines the direction of design.
Yes, we will travel the state of FL however please be advised we have higher contract requirements based on certain distances.
We would love to be able to assist all Brides/Clients who would like to hire our company for full comprehensive design and set up execution however the scale in which we design and create for our clients limits our ability to take multiple weddings on a given day or weekend. Therefore because of our limited ability to accept multiple large events we set a higher contract minimum requirement based on the location of your event.
Our current contract minimum requirement for our local events in Volusia County starts at $200 for "each" Flowers and/or Rentals {they may not be combined} before sales tax and labor fees. Our minimum requirement increases the further we are asked to travel outside of our immediate area. For instance, for weddings in Orlando or Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra area contracts will start at $4,000. If you have a wedding that is further than 1.5hrs away from Daytona Beach please inquire directly to receive our minimum requirement for your destination.
Absolutely, we can assist with private parties, corporate events or whatever your hearts desire!
We appreciate each and every client who chooses to trust us for their wedding or event. If you are unable to or desire not to spend our minimum requirement based on your events location, please consider shopping our Floral Luxe Bridal Boutique which offers the same attention to detail for floral design as well as offers a selection of rental items that you may purchase for your wedding/event. The only difference is our RKD does NOT set up your flowers/decor and we do not do specialty installations. We will however deliver all of your flowers and decor items to your venue for yourself, family member or coordinator to set up and breakdown. For events outside of our Floral Luxe delivery area, you can certainly pick your order up and we'll help to safely load everything into your vehicle(s).

Yes we do, however we only accept as many events in a given day or weekend that we feel we can properly and fully execute without leaving room for error . We do not over promise ourselves! RKD is dedicated to exceeding expectations therefore we limit our commitments to ensure you receive the best level of service.
100% yes, Rachael's hands are on each and every event contracted for full comprehensive event design and execution. Rachael however is not at every single wedding set up or breakdown the day of event however rest assure our team is fully trained and adheres to a strict attention to detail that Rachael has instilled in them when facilitating the installation of our contracted events. Rachael is always accessible to our team in the event she cannot be physically present at an event the day of.
All flowers are absolutely the clients to keep, RKD does not expect to receive flowers back at the end of the evening. We do however require that ALL rental items come back to RKD at the end of event. Any rental item that goes missing or is damaged/broken during event is to be replaced at the expense of client including the shipping charges and/or minimum purchase requirements by RKD's vendors.
If you would like your guests to be able to take the flowers home after event please consider purchasing inexpensive vases for your flowers to be transferred into. Our RKD will happily transition your flowers from our vases into yours at the end of the evening upon request.
If a client should cancel event after paying the required deposit and prior to event date all monies paid to RKD are non-refundable. Clients must submit intent to cancel in writing to RKD.
If a client should postpone wedding/event to a new date, RKD will re-apply contract and all monies paid to the new agreed upon date. Postponed contracts are honored for one year after original contracted date. Client must submit new date(s) of consideration to RKD in writing to confirm our availability. RKD will not guarantee a new date without prior notification request from client.
Upon Unforeseen Acts of God or Natural Disasters such as but not limited to hurricanes, tornadoes, pandemics, government forced shut downs, riots and/or acts of terrorism Rachael Kasie Designs holds the right to refrain from designing or delivering flowers in such circumstances if the safety of our team members or business is at risk.
If Rachael Kasie Designs has to make the unfortunate decision to refrain from upholding the agreed upon contract due to a Natural Disaster or Unforeseen Act of God and the client moves forward with the event as planned RKD will refund to the client monies paid excluding 30% retainer payment.
If a client should cancel event in its entirety as a result of a Natural Disaster or Unforeseen Act of God and Rachael Kasie Designs is still willing and able to service event as contracted all monies paid by client are non-refundable
If a client should reschedule event to a different date as a result of a Natural Disaster or Unforeseen Act of God, RKD will re-apply contract and monies paid to new date based on RKD’s availability. Client must submit new date(s) of consideration to RKD in writing to confirm our availability. RKD will not guarantee any new date without prior notification request from client. RKD does promise to do our best to accommodate all clients as best we can.
Any event rescheduled due to Natural Disaster or Unforeseen Act of God by the client that has still holds a remaining balance will be required to make a payment towards that balance as a “secondary date reservation fee” for the NEW date. Amount of payment to be determined on case by case basis depending on balance amount due on the contract between client and RKD.
The agreed upon contract between client and Rachael Kasie Designs cannot be cancelled or nullified, nor will any refund amount be given to the client in the event the Venue of the client cancels as a result of an Unforeseen Act of God or Natural Disaster. Any contracts between the client and outside vendors do not affect nor do they nullify the contract entered into between the client and RKD. If the client’s venue should cancel on client, RKD can service another venue of client’s choosing
Rachael Kasie Designs will provide all services specified in the contract that were agreed upon with the client and will work with the client if any services/offerings need to be adjusted. We guarantee our presence at the places and times specified in each contract. Most of all, we promise to fulfill all services to the utmost best of our ability, striving to exceed client expectations
